FIAF’s popular Tastings returned in 2011 with an even greater selection
of fine French delicacies!
Wine
Sample a wide selection of sun-soaked Provence rosé, red, and white
wines provided by Vins de Provence. This year’s
selection brings a special focus on elegant pinks from Provence – home
of the celebrated destinations of St. Tropez and Cannes, and beloved
retreat of Cezanne, Matisse, Picasso, and Van Gogh. Made from
red grapes, and known for offering the body of a red
wine with the crispness of a white, dry pinks make for a perfect summer
wine!
Cheese
Accompanying these wines is an array of delicious French cheeses,
courtesy of Président
and Société Specialty Cheeses. Gourmands can treat themselves
while matching their wines with different cheese varieties, from Le
Châtelain Brie to Roquefort Société! Enjoy these cheeses on
rich artisan breads provided by Bridor.

Cocktails
Taste fresh summer cocktails made with Ricard,
France’s not-to-be-missed pastis from Marseille, mixing Oriental spices
(star anise, liquorice roots) and aromatic herbs from Provence. Sample
the quintessential Ricard Classic, indulge in the cranberry-flavored
French Kiss, or refresh yourself with the Mistral, balanced with apple
juice, lime, and Beefeater Gin.

Beer
Browse our menu of original craft beers by Jenlain
and Pietra to select the best beer for
your palate! Explore Mediterranean flavors and bouquets from
Corsica with a glass of Pietra chestnut amber ale, or try the perfect
wheat beer, Colomba. For original French Farmhouse ales from northern
France, enjoy a Jenlain Blonde Bière de Garde (‘Beer for Keeping’), or
its Amber counterpart, for a maltier taste.
